Breakfast Television, City TV Our company was featured on the popular morning show, Breakfast Television in Toronto, Ontario. The show was showcasing viewers inventions and ideas. The producer of the show loved my idea and asked me to appear on the show. It was great to meet with Kevin and Dina and all of the members of the staff. They gave my product Wall Huggers such a great boost and start.
Cityline, City TV Our company and product was featured on the popular home show by Cityline, Toronto, Ontario. They were doing a segment on upholstered headboards that hang on the wall. They felt that my product was a good offer to their viewers and the impact of the show was Canada wide. We have made sales across Canada to viewers of the show. Thank you to Marilyn and Mary for their great efforts and comments on our product Wall Huggers.
Grand River Living, Rogers TV One of our local television stations Rogers requested that we be part of their lineup of design segments on their show. The show features local businesses with their products and services. Their design spokesperson Jackie did a great job in promoting my business and product. Also thanks to the producer Iain who did a great job producing the show. We enjoy hearing from local customers who saw the show.
Househunting.ca As a result from the Interior Design Show, our company was published in an article by the websites househunting.ca & ottawacitizen.com who was present at the show. Their comments are; "Connie Beland's company Wall Huggers is more discreet. She sells padded panels that are meant to be hung on the wall as headboards, but can be used as room decoration. The panels soften harsh lines and give a feeling of comfort." It is written by Daniel Drolet, Citizen Special. Thanks to both of the sites for their publication.
Canadian House & Home Magazine In the June 2008 Issue of Canadian House & Home Magazine, Cameron MacNeil in his Ask A Designer section recommends Wall Huggers. His reader has a bedroom that they are desperate to decorate. They are looking for a warm and comfortable room. Cameron says "An upholstered headboard is a cosy alternative to the typical wood bed frame. Visit www.wallhuggers.ca for a good selection of upholstered panels that hang on the wall over the bed. I recommend using six of the Amanda panels (a square shape) arranged in a tight configuration as a headboard. Choose a colour for the panels that's similar to your wall colour." Thank you Cameron and House & Home for this great recommendation.
